Psykologtidsskriftet

Aims and scope

Psychologists in Norway constitute the primary readership of Journal of the Norwegian Psychological Association.

Journal of the Norwegian Psychological Association aims to make new theoretical and methodological developments from all areas of psychology available to a broad readership.

The journal publishes scientific articles that are based on both quantitative and qualitative methods and that are subject to peer review.

Norwegian psychologists have a broad field of interest, and we welcome manuscripts that deal with all topics and disciplines. Experiences from small and specific patient populations or from narrow fields of study can have great generalization value to other psychologists, and the editorial office would like to receive manuscripts that deal with such topics. We accept manuscripts written in English, but please note that these will be published on our website only.

We also welcome manuscripts that emphasise interdisciplinary collaboration or that present experiences from non-traditional psychologist roles and, given the importance of access to well-developed testing and assessment tools for psychologists in Norway, manuscripts dealing with development or quality testing of psychometric tests.

Implications or potential implications for practice should, as far as possible, be included in the abstract and the discussion section.
