Editorial board

The Editorial Board of Journal of the Norwegian Psychological Association serves as an advisory body to the editor-in-chief on strategic and operational matters. The board must always comprise at least eight members, all of whom must be researchers and have a formal affiliation with a research institution. Members are appointed for two years at a time. The Editorial Board has the following mandate:

  • Assist the editor-in-chief by advising on strategic and operational issues.

  • Advise the editor-in-chief on the editorial direction and profile of the journal.

  • Contribute to the selection of topics for special issues, and in some cases its members may take on the role of guest editor.

  • Assist the editor-in-chief in cases of plagiarism accusations and reviewer disagreement.

  • Serve as the jury panel for the Bjørn Christiansen Memorial Prize, with the editor-in-chief serving as chair.
